The payment tiers are very fair. Sending out professional invoices and statements instead of Excel sheets or Google Docs sends the right message to your clients. They may have changed it since I last used it (2021). Every touchpoint with client, matters. FreshBooks has a couple of plans that are completely affordable. $15/mo for 5 clients. $25 for 50 clients. I was on the $25/mo plan (actually billed monthly) for 4 years. It's seriously a great product. Are you worried about credit card fees? No problem. Add 3% more to your pricing to account for the payment gateway fees (PayPal, Stripe, WePay, etc). You can even connect FreshBooks to your bank for ease of expenses and export profit and loss (P\&L) statements. There's really no reason why you should still be doing your accounting on Google Sheets. I put lots of time into getting all those quotes migrated onto the system and now I have to start again on a different app. I wouldn't recommend for small businesses that don't have their data in multiple places coz finding all the quotes I've sent is gonna take a while. I had used them for another business that had 2-3 transactions a month for over 2 years so I felt comfortable using them for this new business that had more transactions.
