- I had the chance to buy it in LTD on Appsumo and the price is incredibly interesting
- My data is no longer with google (I used to use G.Analytics)
- It offers me goals that it has identified itself so that I can make goals that will be statistically tracked
- I can see the people who browse my site and the pages they have seen. It's very interesting to understand why some visitors leave the site without making a purchase
- there is no need for a cookie\! This is really the future of this kind of tool
- It really measures everything that is measurable
- Detailed reports can be downloaded and provided to the client
- You can share a dashboard with the client so that they can see their statistics

> Hockeystack is a smart choice, instead to watch heat map sessions, because focuses on the result what they click on, without having to watch the entire journey of each person or wasting time with session replays. Because of that you can create filters of people who take certain actions and pick out trends quickly. Literally, It shows me exactly what I need and I want to see.

> **Inconvénients**: The core failure: they couldn't connect our data. And this wasn't a complex data problem our systems are straightforward. 

What was more disappointing than the failure itself was the lack of effort in trying to fix it. Our demand gen, operations, and data teams made themselves fully available. Even with that level of cooperation on our end, HockeyStack couldn't answer basic questions or provide clear direction on next steps. 

For a platform at this price point, that's not acceptable.

Onboarding was lengthy and complicated which would be fine if it led somewhere. It didn't. 

With 90% of touch points requiring manual mapping, we were essentially building the integration ourselves. The onboarding process became a sunk cost.

The support structure is visibly strained. Account managers are clearly overloaded, and support calls are booked in 15-minute back-to-back slots — not exactly the white-glove experience you'd expect at this investment level.

> My honest take: the founders have built a strong LinkedIn presence and a compelling vision. But there's a gap between the brand they're projecting and the customer experience they're delivering. That gap is where trust erodes.

> **Avantages**: HockeyStack is an easy-to-use software that is a nice alternative to many of the expensive and complicated analytical tools on the market. To start, you simply need to add a line of code to your website and the code itself is only a few kilobytes in size. What is especially good about this tool is that is cookieless and has a good potential in light of the future cookieless tracking that is on the agenda nowadays. Thanks to this software users can track every step of the funnel their website visitors make and know where exactly they fall off. You can use various tracking tags like browsers, countries, devices, language and so on. This tool does not provide session recordings or heatmaps as the founders claim they do not lead to actionable insights.

> **Inconvénients**: I don't see cons as the product is still under development and they constantly add new features and take their users' feedback into account. It would be great to see heatmaps and sessions recording as well, as they are open-source and affordable solutions to have them on board so it becomes an all-in-one solution for marketers and web designers. It would be great to have a chance to add more team members as well.
