> **Avantages**: As a PhD and post-doc researcher specializing in policy effectiveness/outcomes with AML a core research area \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] Kroton was the first system I found that managed to achieve any meaningful impact on crime, regulatory risk, and costs. Others I've examined over the years left huge amounts of hidden risk untouched, unknown, giving a false sense of compliance security while criminals continue using their services and hidden regulatory risk courses through their operations, unknown to the compliance team, CEO, or board. Until the risk bursts out and/or regulator turns up, a 'shock' to all. The hard truth in many cases is that it shouldn't be a surprise if the risk was programmed in when software evaluation processes followed ('the usual') compliance procurement 'best practices' rather than (much rarer) selection processes optimized for effectiveness.
