I’ve never had to use a software for my qualitative analysis - so it’s interesting and yet challenging to use an entirely new software as a first timer. Its user-friendly interface made coding and refining themes straightforward, while the export options (to Word, Excel, and PDF) allowed me to integrate outputs directly into the dissertation. It also allowed me to import my transcripts directly as words instead of typing them out which would have discouraged me from using it. Delve also offers collaborative features for sharing projects with peers or supervisors, which, although not required in this study and I didn’t use it, could benefit larger team-based research. I selected Delve over more complex packages because it provided the core functionality I required in a simpler and more accessible format. Also, because my supervisor advised me against using such. Lastly, the emails from customer Support helped me learn some tips about using the software which I might not have figured out myself, such as merging codes under a theme. > > **Inconvénients**: I can’t fault anything about Delve. I only feel it is quite on the high end price-wise.
