The "higher ups" in the company are clueless. Nobody could support our billing needs and the software was SO EXPENSIVE. They wanted us to do in-house billing with them but that was triple the price. I have been practicing for 22 years and I have never been so upset about the amount of money wasted on this software. Office ally, a very affordable program, is so much better than this\! > > The initial training with amanda and samantha was great... BUT took forever- so many phases. I was not ready to go live and should've listened to my intuition. So much wasted time and once we were live, nobody could help with the billing portion. I feel so ripped off. I bought into the cult of Genesis and it was such a horrible experience. It took months for my biller to clear out the mistakes and transfer the billing to our new software. They are still charging me $99 for the privilege of accessing our information for patient info. I canceled it and will now call my credit card company to block the charge. It is able to connect the schedule well and the immediate access to notes for the doctor. The schedule is linked to our online scheduling and review wave makes it very convenient for our patients to be able to communicate effectively. We can communicate within the office using their task bar (making it HIPAA compliant) and with Genesis team or billing stream lining our questions and concerns. > > **Inconvénients**: There is a lot of functionality in Genesis. We probably use a quarter of all the functions that comes with this system. The intake process has been a bit tough for us as we find patients have a tough time navigating and getting through it in a timely manner.
