RevFlow is an all-in-one physical therapy practice management suite combining EMR, scheduling, reporting, and billing to assist PT practices with day-to-day business running. With the aim of providing a complete end-to-end solution for physical therapy management, RevFlow offers tools such as accounts receivable (A/R) management, calendar scheduling, follow up scheduling, electronic medical records (EMR), document storage and templates, and more.
RevFlow aims to give physicians the ability to schedule follow-ups, organize their workflow and prepare for appointments without the need for third party input. Using the quick patient registration and appointment scheduling tools, users can check for availability on the in-built calendar and schedule an appointment or follow-up directly with the patient. Physical therapists can ensure that there are no scheduling conflicts and prepare for periods of high demand by bringing in additional staff.
Other tools within RevFlow include EMR management which provides digital patient charts for easy access and information input, and produces daily progress reports, evaluations, and document scanning and management. The billing tools within RevFlow allow users to track billable hours, bill patients, spot inaccuracies within claims, meet compliances, and create reports using real-time data to understand and evaluate revenue.
The best part of Revflow is the reports and the way that it is designed to get the most for your services/ reimbursement. BMS is a billing company with lots of experience and John Wallace at the helm, who has taught me a lot as a business owner and his expertise is what helps Revflow be so effective in capturing the best payment possible from your insurers, with less costly denials. Furthermore, BMS is very ethical and can be trusted, they will help you stay compliant with Medicare guidelines and are always on top of changes that come up and are stressors for business owners, such as ICD10, functional outcomes, PQRS, etc. I highly recommend this company and the corresponding software.
Compliance with all necessary Medicare guidelines. It is software designed by a very good billing company, so less likely to get denials from insurance companies due to errors/ items omitted.
It has had some issues in the past, and wasn't always the "prettiest"/user friendly, but it has improved and continues to do so. Furthermore, if you are having issues, their customer support is prompt/attentive.
We have been partnered with BMS practice solutions for nearly 10 years. At the time we started using BMS we had 6 locations. BMS and the Revflow system has provided us with the support, data analysis, and collaboration to enable our growth to 18 locations and we continue to grow. The key critical component in this success has been using the data to understand the key performance matrices to the success of the practice. With use of the vast reporting of the Revflow system we are able to timely and accurately review performance and train clinicians and staff for success. EMR in not meeting the needs of our clinical staff
We transitioned 3 years ago from another software program, and was immediately impressed with the training and support that we received. Within 3 months we experienced a turnaround in collections, which has continued to be at the level that we expect. BMS has been responsive to our requests for information and reports that unique to our facility. Updates and training are provided efficiently and effectively. We are very pleased with the billing and scheduling software and personnel.

Scheduling calendar doesn't update timely when there are two different people scheduling patients at the same time.
I would like to also point out that I have been using this system for nearly a year. Nothing has been resolved from the company's standpoint and the errors and issues we initially had were never resolved as promised from RevFlow. This software is a nightmare to use from clinicians and I am appalled and outraged at how the company in general handles issues.
From a billing standpoint this EMR helps you to capitalize on your billable units. There are no other pros to this system
This EMR has been our clinics worst nightmare and we cannot wait to switch. It will undoubtedly take you over 45 minutes to finish an eval just for the slowness of the system and the annoying automatic lock outs alone. There is nothing easy about this system, there are about 20 different tabs you have to click through for notes, and each new tab will take you at least 20 seconds to load...if you have good internet. The system has shut down on us without notice during business days leaving us stranded with no EMR. Full notes and evals have been deleted by the system after they are already finalized, and don't worry when you call customer service and finally get through they will tell you "there is nothing we can do." I have left a message for customer service needing help with their system and got a return phone call 5 days later.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? All the promises this company sells you on initially don't buy it, this system is the worst, has significantly reduced mine, and the clinics productivity, and there is nothing reliable about their customer service, or even knowing if the EMR will work that day! Please save yourself the hassle of this EMR and run away...FAST!
RevFlow is easy to learn and easy to use. You can set up your own initial exams and add phrases you use often in your documentation. Overall it is functional for our practice and the price is right. The RevFlow platform is based on Silverlight and this is old technology however there is a revision coming that will update the function and capabilities of the RevFlow suite and I am very excited about the possibilities.
