Thr!ve POS is a cloud-based point of sale (POS) system designed for use in pizzerias and pizza delivery restaurants, with solutions for independent restaurants, regional chains, and national chains. Thr!ve is also suitable for a range of other types of restaurant, including delis, bakeries, breweries and pubs.
The order entry system in Thr!ve POS can be customized to work for any menu, no matter how complex, with unlimited buttons and support for complex pricing rules. When an item is selected, included modifiers are highlighted, allowing users to easily add or subtract ingredients or toppings. Common add-ons can be displayed on multiple menu screens, and deal discounts are automatically applied when items included in the promotion are selected. Users can manually select the type of each order, with options including dine in, delivery, to go, and pick up, or default order types can be set for individual stations to streamline the ordering process. Customers can place orders in-store, online, or over the phone, with advanced caller ID, customer profiles, email order confirmations, and a customizable online ordering system.
For restaurants offering delivery, Thr!ve POS offers a native iOS app for drivers, allowing drivers to view their assigned orders, check in when they arrive at the delivery address, capture customer signatures, and more. Users can also specify delivery areas, service times, fees, and minimum order requirements, and if necessary ban problem customers from ordering deliveries. Driver locations can be tracked in real-time, and mileage can be used to accurately calculate driver payments. Users are automatically alerted to any deliveries which are running late, and can use the late delivery report to identify which customers to send coupons or a personal apology.
Thr!ve POS also includes tools for managing restaurants with table and bar service, scheduling employee, tracking hours worked, managing inventory, purchasing and receiving, setting up customer loyalty programs, and more.
The business problems we are solving is getting the reports that we need to make informed decisions on our business. The software makes training new employees easier and faster that the old days of Vitalink. We still need priorities to be made on solving the reporting issues I described before. And selling Add-on products that work properly.
Compared to what we were using, this software allowed us to do reporting we couldn't do before, and it is easy to teach new users to operate quickly.
Reporting is inaccurate, Daily summary report - numbers do not add up correctly and Thrive has not been able to explain how the numbers are calculated. Payroll reports- hours not reporting accurately causing us to overpay employees at times and employee confidence of being paid correctly has diminished. Tax Summary report - not reporting accurate numbers which has caused us major problems with under reporting taxes due resulting in penalties from the State. Time slips - the print outs when an employee clocks out sometimes prints there entire shift was in Overtime when it wasn't...printing error. Once again employee confidence is low on whether they are being paid accurately. Updates have not corrected this issue.
We also would like the add-on software to work correctly: 1- Thrive online-order fail rate over 55%, please correct this so we can use it instead of 3rd party software. 2- Inventory software doesn't work either
I would recommend Thrive POS to anyone opening an independent pizza shop.
Very functional for a Pizza place. Great Delivery program, online ordering platform, and it's easy to train new employees on how to use it.
There are constantly issues that take too long to resolve.

Call center is great for a 1 number system
If you send in a support ticket they don't always let you know when they fixed the problem. Not a lot I can say in the negative about this product.
Fits our industry like a glove - allows us to integrate POS, online services, and marketing in one product.
