I love how Wistia allows me to smoothly stream my videos and I am able to curate my content thanks to their analytics feature.

To an individual user, Wistia can be a little expensive.

There are many things to love about Wistia. Some of the key things that I liked most are:

- The simple user interface
- The ability to customize for conversions (end screens, chaptering, CTA's etc.)
- The ability to connect to HubSpot CRM with a more holistic picture of a lead to see what video content they have engaged with
- The ability to duplicate videos for different locations to isolate performance data
-The ability to provide our channel with video's and evaluate their performance
- The ability to replace a video without having to update all the locations it exists. This option is awesome because you have the choice to keep the statistics or start fresh
-The ability to make a channel and customize the channel for like content to keep the viewer engaged with like content
- The ability to have various teams in Wisitia from Marketing, Sales, Support, UX etc and isolate access
- The fact that they are continually putting out new features that are beneficial at various stages of the marketing and sales funnel

-I wish it would a little easier to customize end screens and CTA's. It would be nice if there was templates you could use and alter for these with your own content and brand. Or if there was a marketplace to purchase high converting designs.
- It would be nice to be able to customize the channel page more with your own brand fonts and layout options. Again pre-done templates for this would be a great feature.

Easy to understand and use. The software is fairly well documented if a little contradictory in places.

Cannot track any of the statistics on social media.

The back end is quite buggy.

Some of the customization features do not work on Social Media or with embedding at all.

They advertise on premium member videos. Right clicking beings up an link to their sales page.

Simplicity in creating videos with tons of enhancements and measurements.

$400 for their Advance package seems a bit over price.

I love how easy Wistia is to use. I'm a fanboy...I'll admit. I've used Wistia to host our orgs marketing and training videos for the last 4+ years and they make the process so simple.

Loading videos, setting up chapters, sharing links, embedding in our help center. I also have used the metrics to help identify where are videos are getting looks to.

Simply put, Wistia makes it easy to host videos.

I don't really have anything I don't like. I suppose some of the save/edit buttons aren't always the most apparent, when editing advanced functions of videos.

When I organized a virtual summit, I spent some time looking into platforms for hosting video content and I came across Wistia over, and over, again.

It was a familiar name to me because many people in my space used it, so I decided to give it a try.

I have to say that out of everything Wistia does, the one thing I think really sets the platform apart it its video player and how it empowers Wistia users.

Aside from the look of the player, which you can really make match your branding colors, you can decide what features to include (and exclude) from the player, and decide what happens once a video is finished.

Plus, you can set the privacy settings when it comes to your videos so that they can be embedded only on domains you pick, anywhere on the internet or nowhere at all other than on your Wistia channel.

This is ideal especially if you sell video content, like in the case of a video course, virtual summit or digital workshop.

The one thing I was a big fan of, when it comes to Wistia, was the fact that the pricing was tied to the bandwidth. I know that this isn't something that's unique to Wistia but isn't necessarily ideal.

Basically, the more people watch your video content, the more bandwidth is used and the higher your Wistia membership invoice is going to be...

The simplicity and ease of use, coupled with powerful features under the surface if you need them. A few of the marketing features e.g. email gating are critical for us.

No particular downsides. There are a couple of features e.g. HubSpot integration that are only available on more expensive plans, but that's reasonable in B2B software.

- Great tool for Individual departments to showcase and keep track of Stats on video

- Lacks some of the basic editing capabilities such as cutting and joining.
- Plans are a bit pricy compared to other video solutions
- Support is limited and usually through email.

What I like the most about Wistia is that I can store the videos to a server in the cloud and I guarantee that the information is secure, it can not be downloaded by unauthorized sources.

What I like the least about Wistia is that they increased their costs by monthly stored content and there are no annual contracts.

Wistia offers great features for all users - no matter how big or small. I've always appreciated that you can easily scale your account with them based on your needs. Additionally, their reporting is great and can give you insight into how long people are watching your video, where they drop off, etc. On top of that, they have plenty of ways for you to collect the info of whoever is watching the video.

The user interface could be better but it's certainly not a deal breaker for us.

Wistia lets you manage hundreds of videos with customizable features like video border color, gating content at the end of the video, and much more!

Some of the features like the gated content are only available on more expensive packages whereas they were complimentary when we first became customers.

As a platform it allows you to define who will see your videos or not, as well as the time they connect with your multimedia content, the time they spend on your page.

Wistia has fulfilled our needs for content placement in support of our marketing campaigns, so far we have not had any major problems, however they have a help center to support the user if necessary

Easy to setup and use. They make it really not technical, and give you the power to create amazing marketing videos.

Nothing much to dislike. Have been recent price increases. Wish there was more in-depth video editing.

Our company uses Wistia to host all our video content and it is AMAZING. Quick upload times, very customizable, and new features are constantly being offered and updated.

I genuinely have no issues with Wistia, I've never had an issue with the hundreds of videos I have uploaded.

Their software ties nicely with other platforms, allowing you to use the data you're capturing from video analytics.

They came out with a new tool called Soapbox. I feel it should just be a part of their overall package offered.

Easy to use, lightweight, intuitive. Great value. Easily iframable into web elements. Support is pretty great also.

The analytics and reporting could be better. Wistia recently had a back end issue around the end of the month, causing gaps in our monthly reporting, but support worked quickly to resolve.

Was great for getting notes from clients and internal notes on videos for a production company I worked for that specialized in educational videos. It was pretty easy to use and login and didn't have any issues with video playback.

The notes on the timeline could be easier to consolidate into a word doc later.

We use wistia for any video content that is extremely important for a user to see.

There's tracking and analytics, CTAs, and a lot of flexibility with their video. For example: I can make different things happen when users are at the 50% mark of a video because of how easy Wistia makes.

Plus, it's so easy to gather analytics in their dashboard.

Wistia is pretty pricey compared to the others. And sometimes, the video doesn't load as fast as Youtube/Vimeo.
