[sensitive content hidden] was patient while I set up our office system of four phones. He talked me through configurations and showed me how to change settings. After weeks of frustration dealing with Zoom, working with a competent customer service person was a delight. I've worked closely with two people from Nextiva, and I would hire them both at my company!

Inconvénients

I wish that the app would ring instantly like a cell phone call, but there is a lag. I've tried keeping the app open and shutting it down, but neither seems to make a difference.

Nextiva is a lot better in CS than our previous phone company. It is clear what we are paying for and the services we get. There is no confusion during the initial process, even though I am not a technical guy. I'm just a small business manager but I was able to set up the entire phone menu system myself. Great product.

Avantages

Customer service is great. Ease of Use is there. Clarity in how to get to your goals for the phone system.

Inconvénients

There is not much I don't like. Nothing so huge that it would need to be mentioned.

Set up and deployment was very difficult at first. Had trouble porting numbers from our previous provider and provisioning our existing phones. Tech support is very knowledgeable and able to remote into my computer to assist with set up. Now that we are up and running I believe I will be very satisfied with the system.

Avantages

The call flow is great. I run seven companies, fourteen phone numbers and seven different call flows. With our previous provider, I had to have seven separate accounts and logins. This made administrating the system tedious. Nextiva allows me to have one account where I can see all of my numbers, call flows, messages and user in one place. It makes things like administrating temporary alternate call routing or message changes very easy. I also like the ability to customize and tailor the system to our exact requirements.

Inconvénients

We had quite a few issues with setup and deployment. Most of it had to do with some customization that we required. I spent about 11 hours over four days on the phone with tech support customizing caller ID, call flows, soft keys on our Ploycom phones, and provisioning of phones. The provisioning was the most troublesome. In fact, I still have one remote worker phone still not provisioned because of an incompatibility with an Xfinity Arris Gateway.

Avantages

What really makes any company is customer service and support. If we can't figure something out or are having issues their support team is always very quick to fix the issue and always have a good attitude.

Inconvénients

Because we use the call center and call recording functionality some of the sites are hard to get to. Especially being a HIPAA secure account.

Very pleased! I came back to Nextiva recently and I am not upset with my move. It is a chore switching phone systems, but with all the changes Nextiva has made recently I do not see myself switching to another provider as long as the reliability stays like it is. Thank you Nextiva!

Avantages

Nextiva has listened to their customer base over the years and fixed a lot of shortcomings. It is nice to see things being improved and Nextiva is now much more than just a phone system.

Inconvénients

The support channels could be a little quicker on response time, but with the new Partner Support options, this is getting a lot better from a partner perspective.

Overall its been pleasent, the documentation is throrough theyve been quick to help with any issues that aren't arelady addressed.

Avantages

Overall experience is palletable, theyre quick to answer any questions and support is avaiblbe 24x7. There hasn't been an issue they have not been able to resolve, our business deals with calls first and foremost, its important that our customers can reach a live person 24/7 and Nextiva systems allows for just that.

Inconvénients

Purely from an administrative standpoint, i would like to have the option to procure more licenses for users at my descretion, along with being able to manually set a password for a user to log into the nextiva app.
For now my only options are to send a "resetpassword" email link

Over all, it's been a great experience anytime I need help the support is great. The billing department has something to desire they are not very forthcoming when a change happens all of a sudden your bill is different

Avantages

I like the admin interface it's very intuitive and easy to use it lets you get the job done

Inconvénients

Some of the little things when daylight savings time happens we have to call to get it switched when a user takes over an extension there is one area we can't change so have to send that to support

Easy of setup, ability to have phones anywhere there are ethernet connections. Support is 5* and easy to reach

Inconvénients

Would like a little more admin functionality such as blocking calls and not needing support for this.

Like the HIPAA fax option. Saves money not having to pay for add'l fax service.
VOIP calls are clear. Polycom phones work well.
Customer service is very good. Chat, email, phone options. Quick response time.

Inconvénients

No complaints to speak of. We have been using for a few years. On occasion we have to reboot a phone but no significant complaints.

Our experience with Nextiva has been fantastic. The service has worked flawlessly since it was installed. When I needed support, the process was easy. The support personnel is always friendly and professional. I like having different avenues of getting support when it is needed.

Avantages

The ease of use. The admin dashboard is very well laid out, making it easy to make changes or perform other administrative requirements. The phones provided have worked to our expectations. Nextiva has many tutorials, making it easy to get self-help.

Inconvénients

There is not anything I do NOT like about Nextiva.

Overall the experience has been good, but I am extremely hesitant to ever have to change the phone tree again because it was an all-day nightmare!

Avantages

Customer support was very helpful when I needed it to help set up the phone tree.
Phone tree works well for most callers and is relatively easy to follow.

Inconvénients

The phone tree was really hard to set up! It took most of a day, and 5 Nextiva tech calls/chats, for us to be able to change features in our phone tree. It would frequently throw errors when we tried to save new recordings or assign/save the branches. It would delete recordings we had just created or assigned as well, causing even more errors.

Eventually the techs had to set it up for us on the backend. I was working with another technician (the chat had timed out), while the first one was working to finish it on the backend for us. The second tech didn't know what the first one was doing, and neither did I! The first tech had to split the tree into two trees, which was not apparent that would need to happen in order for it to work. It's a really buggy setup, but it works well once it is setup and left alone.

Avantages

Easy to use and customer service is always very helpful and resolves the issues that same day. The ability to filter whose phone rings for incoming calls or not is great! Not everyone needs to have their phone ringing all day long.

Inconvénients

Sometimes have to wait awhile on the chat for a representative but when you get connected they always resolve the issues fairly quickly.
