I have been in private practice for over 25 years and as the times change, so have we. The staff and program at Nue MD have been helpful in every way. They may not be able to accommodate us with all of our needs but they are always responsive to our needs. The only complaint I have about the program is that each of our schedules are not exclusively private and can be viewed by everyone in the practice. I had to call everytime I needed help with something > > At first, I was skeptical because they require $500 per month to use their software, but I couldn't find any other solutions, so I went with them. They were helpful and lots of people reaching out to me to get set up, which was helpful. My first billing specialist just dropped off the planet, and I had to reach out, after about 3 weeks of not hearing from her, to the company to find out what was happening with my account. If I hadn't, I'm sure my small practice would have been forgotten. They then set me up with another specialist and we had a great repoire, which lasted about a year and half. Then I find out that another company bought NMD back in the fall of 2019, which no one told me about, and again, things were falling through the cracks. The general phone number no longer worked, my specialist would take days to get back with me, and I was spending hours every week following up on bills and finding out what was going on.....all still while I was paying $500 a month. Found out my billing specialist was moved to another area and I was the one who had to reach out to get help. I finally saw the writing on the wall in January and immediately cancelled my contract. They require a 90 days notice to end the contract, which I thought, after I'd communicated several times that I was really unhappy with their service, that we'd finalize all work and end my payments to them by February. At first, it was A LOT to take in and overwhelming at times, but with help from my trainer, Sherry Fincher, and the support team at Nuesoft I feel we made the right decision with choosing your company. We have already received our first incentive check and are working on 2014 now. I feel comfortable with all of the changes coming down the pike( e.g. ICD10, PQRS...) because you are all just a phone call away. The product is easy to use and able to be adjusted to ours needs. An online search and some luck made me stumble on the Neumd site and I thought it was too easy to be true. I spoke with 2 prior users and then started using the system in my practise. Have no office staff and am able to complete the process mostly by the time patient walks out of the office.
