Overall, I think Aspire is great. It has helped our business grow and gain better insight into the true costs on a job by job basis.

Avantages

Aspire can seem very daunting at first glance, but if you take the time to really dig in and learn it, Aspire is fantastic. I like that it updates in real time. That you can track productivity on a ticket by ticket basis. The ability to apply all costs to individual tickets to better understand the job profitability. And you can build pretty much any report you could ever need.

Inconvénients

There are work arounds when it comes to billing set up (like getting the bill to info to match a certain Management Groups needs). I would like to be able to use a customer's email more than once, because of billing work arounds.

I am amazed as to how well Aspire operates. The ability to count for everything and not allow you to forget things as unbilled or uncompleted is amazing. Their scheduling is on another dimension and job costing is amazing. Ther are so many great features but one of the best features they have is their Purchase Order system. It works amazingly well and links well with inventory system that Aspire has built within. I can go on and on talking about it. I simply love it.

Avantages

Aspire is a software that grows with you. Since we first signed for Aspire, they have added countless number of features that makes our day-to-day operations a breeze and they keep improving the system tremendously. It is easy to use and understand and the support you get from Aspire team and peers is amazing. You can call any Aspire user and seek help or advise and they are more than happy to help. The culture that Aspire built is unlike anything else you will experience and if you wonder, no I am not getting paid for these comments.

Inconvénients

Just like any system out there, there is always room for improvement. My role within the organization is closing the month and accounting. I would love it if Aspire is little more friendly especially if you have multiple branches within same instance. Little too much scrolling for my liking. I would love it if the revenue variance feature got improved. It works as is however requires some work on users end.

There was a big learning curve with the implementation and getting the teams plugged in and operational but once it all came together the benefits were apparent. We're tracking performance much better then in the past and more efficiently as well. The continuing support from the Aspire team has been great as well.

Avantages

The two biggest challenges facing landscaping companies I find are 1. managing maintenance labor while delivering quality and 2. creating and tracking billable opportunities with efficiency. Aspire excels in both of these categories. The operational side of the software is excellent and gives the branch teams the tools they need to estimate, schedule and track performance. The estimating, job costing, scheduling and the crew mobile functions are all solid and perform well.

Inconvénients

On the flip side the administrative and accounting side of Aspire has some challenges integrating smoothly with our accounting system. The inability to reverse transactions easily is an example. There are some good checks in place like the EOM checklists to keep everything balanced though. A fully integrated and functional accounting system would be a nice addition to the package. I believe Aspire is working on that.

The support team is AMAZING. I can't say enough about how helpful they have been as we started with them, even though it's taken a long time to get us where we are. They have been patient and helpful throughout the process.

Avantages

The implementation team was phenomenal in helping us get set our system set up for our specific needs. [sensitive content hidden] was amazingly helpful, flexible, and super patient with us - which we desperately needed. We're also very excited about having one platform to use for all of our needs instead of multiple programs to track everything.

Inconvénients

For us the hardest part is finding the time to set up all the items we need to cater the system to our business. We have very specific needs, and the set up has taken a long time solely because of the specific nature and number of items that we need to set up prior to using the system to it's full potential.

On boarding was a year long process and quite overwhelming but once we had a year of operation under our belts we are happy with the program. Support team has helped us each step of the way and are available with questions. It's quite an investment in time and money but worth it.

Avantages

Everything all in one software system. No need to have 7 different estimating spreadsheets, new lead tracking sheets, purchasing sheets, etc. Plus it is cloud based so can be accessed from anywhere on most devices. Previous system was server based and not practical when not in front of computer.

Inconvénients

Snow module is difficult and not something we can use at this time. Additionally the reporting in Aspire leaves something to be desired. Wish it was more hands on and easier to create my own reports from any information in the system.

It took us a long time to receive a CSM.....I expected the customer service to above and beyond and it felt like we were rushed to graduate and then we had to bag for a CSM.

It's involved a complete culture shift at our company, and it has not been an easy transition. Getting everyone 100% on board is still a challenge after 2 years. Aspire has many checks and balances, but there are certainly workarounds. With the help of some outside consultants and a wonderful CSM, we are finally on the right track. The rapid growth of Aspire offers many benefits such as an ever-expanding list of company partnerships for GPS integration, payroll integration and more.

Avantages

All encompassing software that limits the amount of work you have to do in other programs. The rapid expansion means there are constant improvements made, and the community is very helpful. I enjoy the amount of control I have over different aspects of our business, from creating custom layouts for proposals and invoices, to managing required fields. It's not perfect, but it is certainly getting there. After changing software numerous times over the years, it is comforting to know we are sticking with Aspire for the long term.

Inconvénients

Little things that are thankfully being improved upon. The mobile application feels antiquated and makes the lives of the crews difficult at times. I also really dislike how T&M pricing hierarchy is calculated. Why would it pull from the catalog pricing even though you change the amount on the purchase receipt? That's like if it just took the estimated hours and charged for them instead of the actual hours on site. It is counterintuitive and illogical for a time and material invoice type.

overall, I would give Aspire a 90 out of a 100. If you asked me this question 18 months ago I probably say 60 out of a 100. But watching the videos and contacting support has been a great help. Your Customer Support team gets a 100. They always get back and help right away.

Avantages

Aspire pretty much is used to run our entore company except payroll. We have metrics and KPI set up that our Leadership monitors on a daily basis. We like the way we can propose a clinet right from the field.

Inconvénients

Aspire continues to grow but there are some features we wish would have been resolved before some of the non-essential items were released.

Personally in the accounting arena, I have loved the ease of invoicing. Tracking time and running payroll is much easier than the old system we had been using.

Avantages

We were always struggling to do job costing using Excel and QuickBooks and now the information is all contained in the opportunity. The invoicing saved so much time and has significantly improved our cash flow.

Inconvénients

The integration and switch over were intense but the Aspire team was there to help with any questions and their training was great. I think there are little gripes with all software but the benefits far out way any issues we have encountered.If you don't hire people with strong computer skills, they may struggle a little.

Overall, where we are sitting now is good. It was a rough start with the initial trainer not participating in the training and then soon quit leaving us to be passed around but Aspire did an excellent job of assigning us an amazing person to get us through our journey. We are utilizing the software in so many helpful ways.

Avantages

This software has so many positive pieces to it that has improved the way we communicate within the company as well as complete jobs on site. It has allowed us to become more paperless in the field which is something so many of us have wanted. Invoicing and job costing has become more transparent.

Inconvénients

The accounting portion is lacking a bit. You have to be creative to get all the information you may need at times and I feel the training lacked in the accounting area. Always being told to watch the videos or attend the online training sessions. We have so many training sessions regarding all other areas of the software repeatedly but nothing formal for the accounting. I understand there may be a legal or responsibility reason for this but we were a bit left out of the loop on this.

Aspire gives you nearly every tool you would need. The support behind the system is great. I have never had to wait more than 24 hours to have a ticket worked on. Everyone I have spoken to from Aspire has been very friendly and helpful.

Inconvénients

I do not have any complaints about Aspire at this time. I am very pleased with the capabilities.

Avantages

The multiple ways you can look and get information. Creating po is example, can do thru ticket, purchasing assistant or just thru po section

Inconvénients

Some list items are not available in all sections. Would think all list would have same sorting and or display list

Avantages

It is user friendly between our Ops and Sales department. We have been deep diving into other areas as well like inventory and site audits and Aspire has a lot to offer.

Inconvénients

The site audits when being used on the phone are not user friendly.

Aspire is an awesome product, but you need to figure out why the support team is lacking so much. I suppose most people dont know, since you need admin access to contact them. At least figure out why bulk uploads are slower than manual uploads, and remove the "request zoom call" option if no one will honor it. It just looks bad.

Why cant there just be a "Bulk Upload" option usable by admins in the web application instead of going through support?

It is the future of landscaping!

Inconvénients

The support team is very slow, often replies in incomplete or gramatically incorrect scentences which makes it very hard to receive any instructions. At least get the support team the "Grammarly" app.

And not once has the "request zoom call" option ever been honored.

It also takes 2 weeks to start a bulk import (they have to escalate it), and then another 2 weeks for them to tell me its been done. The bulk upload is also very limited in what can be updated. In every case, it was actually quicker to do everything by hand instead of waiting for support. It's as if the support team is actually doing those "bulk uploads" by hand....

Avantages

Accuracy of estimating. Speed with which estimates can be generated using templates, the equipment module syncing with gps and alerting for all of the maintenance. I also wish you could generate an efficiency score for each employee rather than only for the crew leader.

Inconvénients

Not being able so see notes on the equipment serviced report. You can see the notes on the equipment needing serviced report but for some reason not on the report of the equipment that has been serviced.

I like the functionality of the system and they are always updating and listening to their client's needs to implement

Inconvénients

Wish the was more functionality with the pivot reporting.

Easy to Use Landscaping Software

Avantages

The ease of use in Aspire is fantastic. Almost 95% of things are intuitive when you first jump into it, but you have the support team at your fingertips for that last 5%. Also, the support team has great tips, tricks, and set up guidelines to get you off to a great start when first implementing.

Inconvénients

In our business, we deal with a fair amount of commercial landscaping installations. There are some gaps in what Aspire can do for this, but the development team is working on improvements in 2024. I cannot wait to see them.
