> **Avantages**: Previously I made flowcharts in PowerPoint. I had to make a new presentation, create a non-title slide, insert a shape, resize the shape, insert a text box, insert an arrow, resize the arrow, connect the arrow to the shape, and repeat all of the above a dozen times, just to make a simple flowchart. Visio doesn't have this issue; it's so much simpler\! Visio gives you the blank slate and a whole selection of shapes and arrows that connect to one another automatically. Any text you attach is resized automatically to compensate for the change in shape. This ease of use lets me focus on the content of the flowchart, rather than the formatting. (The formatting features are robust, too.) I quite like Visio's approach to flowchart creation, at least in comparison to PowerPoint's.

> **Inconvénients**: I wish Visio came bundled with Microsoft 365 for Business by default. The pricing model for Visio (and Microsoft 365 in general) is so confusing. Feature-wise, Visio is great. But acquiring the software, let alone acquiring it at the best cost, is a hassle.
