Avantages

Brightmove is quite intuitive and easy to use. The cost is unbeatable and they are constantly adding new enhancements. My favorite aspect as an HR Director is that the jobs automatically push out to relevant job boards which saves time and draws in quality candidates!

Inconvénients

n/a. Truly love this product. I wish it integrated with Paycom so the employee information could be uploaded, but this is not a show stopper.

Pros - Easy to use, more additional functions (although most don't work very well) and cheaper than other options

Cons - If you are operating in Canada many features are not yet functional; its annoying to use their LinkedIn integration, the resume formatting is so bad we often have to ask candidates to resubmit resumes directly to our e-mail; some issues with the interface/workflow; customization is time consuming or will cost you extra $ to do; the real CON is their customer service team I have asked questions several times, and if the issue is really basic they do okay, otherwise it can take weeks of e-mails back and forth, only to be told that the solution is either your problem or will cost extra to fix if you want........for instance I noticed that we were not able to integrate our BM account with our Monster account in 2014, at that time when I asked the CS team to address the issue it took several days of communications, and then I was told it was fixed, it was not fixed. Rather than continue to argue with the CS team at BM, we left it as is. Then in 2015 I again brought the issue to the CS team's attention, they said it worked again, and this time I decided it point out it still didn't work....they asked for our Monster rep's info to talk to Monster, only to then tell us it was our responsibility to deal/talk with Monster....urgh. Terrible customer service - exactly how do I communicate to one service provider about an tech issue that one of our other vendor's products has? It was the same with issues with Twitter integration, and several other requests I have had - basically figure it out on your own or pay us a lot to deal with our own crappy product bugs. Honestly, I wish looking back we had of gone with CATS. I have used that ATS in the past, and way fewer issues. Buyer beware!

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your comments and concerns. While we certainly regret not being able to resolve the integration issue with Monster in a more timely manner, I assure you that we were working diligently behind the scenes to correct the problem.

Unfortunately, we are sometimes constrained in integration situations, based on the flexibility, and responsiveness of the companies we integrate with.

On a positive note, we were able to resolve the integration issue.

We have additionally worked to improve on support communication during the resolution process.

The only reason I rate BrightMove as 4 Stars instead of 5 Stars (and 9 instead of a 10) is because I don't believe there is a perfect system for everyone.

Avantages

Having worked in Recruiting / Hiring since 1993, I have used lots of systems over the years and can confidently say BrightMove is my favorite system. I think it is very intuitive and easy-to-navigate. And if-when I am ever not sure how to do something, I can find an answer to my question fairly easily on my own or by contacting a Customer Support person in the U.S. who is easy to understand (instead of someone overseas who has a thick accent and makes me repeat everthing multiple times).

Inconvénients

I wish there was a Auto-Login feature or a "Keep Me Logged In" feature so I wouldn't need to put in my Username and Password every single time I want to use BrightMove.

I love the ease of use with this product

Avantages

This is a great ATS and the IT suppport has been phenomenal.

Inconvénients

Some reports can be tricky to pull if you aren’t well versed in the backend setup.

I would love to see things added in like integration with Gmail, the ability to set up client interviews with candidates inside the system and sourcing folders attached to each position so you can see the sourcing activity for each role. It would be much easier to track the number of candidates and their stage in the process flow like this: project ownership, days live, how many ads run, sourced candidates, candidates applied, candidates phone interviewed by recruiter, resumes forwarded to hiring manager, candidates (first, second, third) interview with hiring manager and then all the way down to offer. We end up doing so much work outside of the system and not populating relevant notes or emails because the integration isn't available. Ideally, I would like to find a system that makes instant visibility easy and tracks everything right inside (like simple interview scheduling). There is a system out there that does this, but I have a conflict of interest with the company and am not in a position to subscribe. If I did, I'd move over in a second.

Avantages

The capabilities of the software has many uses. I like that it posts on the job boards automatically for you.

Inconvénients

Needs to be more user friendly. The process of working through the jobs can be quiet tedious. They could make there be less steps.

BrightMove accomplishes what other ATS do not in that BrightMove is very mold-able to meet the needs of each Client. It is easy to use and learn, and even has a Google Chrome Extension to parse in Resumes. I can build out special folders depending on each client. And I recieve an e-mail every time a candidate applies to a position I posted. BrightMove also allows me to attach it to a sponsored marketing/job campaign while posting the job to several job boards at once. BrightMove also continues to adapt to changing technology and offers very good support.

Easy to load resumes, search capability is very good, pricing for our business size and model is very good!

Avantages

Their pay for use model is great for us so far since our volume and activity is up and down. Email support has been great. Integration with Outlook works nicely.

Inconvénients

We've had some issues getting the DICE integration to work right out of the box. It's not as visually stunning or simple as other solutions. It would be great if the questionnaire functionality would support grading so we can better qualify candidates applying.

Avantages

You can easily parse resumes and create profiles. We have a chrome extension added to this site (Text Recruit) that allows us to text from Brightmove and stores the conversation history that is super helpful. It would be great if Brightmove had similar built in features without having to manage a separate software.

Inconvénients

Refreshing the jobs is cumbersome. The website is less user friendly with too many options that we don't use. The reporting is less useful...if I want to pull all candidates in submitted status I just want to click a button and not run a full report. Better yet, I would like that report to have hyperlinks to the candidate's profile or job so I can work off of the report.

Regarding reports - we are enhancing this module with custom report building very soon. Target release time is less than 6 weeks. It's going to be a huge improvement.

BrightMove is very easy to use and helps to streamline my process. The customer support live chat feature is wonderful, and allows me to continue to work instead of staying on the phone with a customer service rep. There are a couple of features that I would like to see come back (hourglass resume function, being able to print out placement details). Overall it works very well for my recruiting needs.

New update has lots of bugs, took away good features.

You can add requests, and vote on other user suggestions - these are voted on internally every week and added to development if they have enough user support.

Avantages

I liked how this system allowed me to see what status each applicant was in and set it accordingly

Inconvénients

I did not like how to search for applicants because of the status they were in it made it difficult to find some sometimes

Avantages

Mass mail allows me to reach out to a lot of people. Search engine is quick. When I call with a problem they respond and help me. Learning tools are available.

Inconvénients

it is better than my IT skills . I get frustrated wishing I could know more do more . I wish I could email my entire data base not just 500 at a time. that would be very nice.

Am a long-time user of Brightmove and am always satisfied. Have used another ATS and this one is superior. I can run and ad at anytime which has helped me make placements.
The Brightmatch feature is a winner!

Avantages

(1) Easy to use (2) Can run ads through ATS--so don't have to pay separately
(3) Friendly and knowledgable staff (4) Brightmatch feature is a winner

Inconvénients

Don't have 24/7 customer service and name recongnition is lacking--most
of my clients never heard of Brightmove

I have setup up Recruiting Process for multiple companies and the one ATS that I have used in doing this is Bright Move. BM covers every aspect of tracking Candidates, Programs and Vacancy Positions.
It's easy to navigate and if you do have an issue the Technical Staff will walk every step with you. Bright Move is reasonably price and does everything and more than the bigger ATS Systems.

I would like for it to match candidates with open positions when enter

In addition, we've been working with them for about 4 years now, and they are continually striving to enhance the ATS platform and add improved functionality and speed. BrightMove is a great value. Avantages

Intuitive and well organized. No matter what you need to do in Brightmove, the answer is either obvious or just a live chat away.

Inconvénients

The reporting leaves a little to be desired. Other ATS systems I have used allow you many more options.

Avantages

I like the ease of finding different candidates who have applied for specific job postings for our company and clients.

Inconvénients

My major challenge with BM would be duplicate candidates applying for multiple jobs in the system. Sometimes it will not recognize the same candidate applying for multiple positions.

Avantages

Easy to navigate and keep notes on candidates. I like how my large HR team can all be in the system at once.

Inconvénients

Sometimes I would like to be able to see notes and statuses on a candidate within a specific job however it forces me to go to the candidates profile instead.

Don't waste your time as the Onboarding and Customer Service are a Jok

Avantages

I liked it's ability to easily integrate with my website. They gave me money back is probably the biggest positive.

Inconvénients

It wasn't easy to use and I couldn't even get onboarded for a single license. It was a joke.

Avantages

I enjoy systems that are user friendly especially in the everyday hustle and bustle, sometimes you do not have time to sit and figure out long processes.

Inconvénients

Really there are not any cons however if I had to think of one..... With any system there are always scheduled maintenance (when the sites are down), usually they come in the most inconvenience time.

Avantages

I like that there is a chat feature that allows you to talk to an agent whenever you are having issues.

Inconvénients

It seems because it is a newer software, there is outages a lot more than I am used to. Even though outages happen, you always get an email explaining what is going on and when it will be fixed.
