Exceptional. I've had nothing but great experiences with Zego and would recommend them to peers in the business.

Avantages

Payment automation reduces the administrative burden and liability of processing checks, money orders, etc. manually.

Inconvénients

It does take time for ACH payments to process, and it would be great if these transaction times could be reduced, but this is par for the course in the industry, I'd argue.

My nearly 15 year experience with Zego products has been overwhelmingly positive. I find their team to be interested in customer feedback, concerns and recommendations to help drive innovation and product development.

Avantages

Having been a user and pilot user of many zego products and features over the years one thing has stood out; their value on customer input to help drive product initiatives.

Inconvénients

The inherent challenges of an integrated product vs. single stack solution. If something were to operate incorrectly the separation of products can increase the troubleshooting workload.

Despite a few mobile design issues, our use of Zego was a generally positive experience that made for seamless digital rent payments.

Avantages

It was relatively straightforward in its user experience design, and we did not have issues with payment errors etc.

Inconvénients

Sometimes, it was difficult to find the correct bank account information to pay our bills, as the drop down menu did not function well on mobile.

It has been very positive. There have been a few small bumps and almost always they are fixed quickly.

Avantages

The ease of use and its integration with RentManager. It blows away other solutions we worked with previously. We "set it and forget it" for the most part. Saves lots of time and energy for our company.

Inconvénients

It would be even better if all features were available in Canada.

Overall, we've had a great experience using Zego. They have partnered with us for over 10 years and we've always valued the partnership. They are the goto company for Rent Manger users as the integration is an extremely valuable edition to any management team.

Avantages

Integrating Zego with our property management system, Rent Manager, has significantly enhanced our operations. Their seamless integration minimizes manual data entry and ensures that our system maintains real-time, accurate information. As a result, we've streamlined our move-out billing process and increased our overall collection rates. Before implementing Zego Utility, our utility collections covered approximately 75% of expenses. Now, we've improved that figure to nearly 90%, which reflects a major boost in cost recovery.

Inconvénients

I wish the reporting feature for submeters was a little more robust. I actually use NextCenturyMeters system in any case as it's directly connected to the equipment so this isn't a huge deal for me.

It is an accessible means for our residents to submit payments.

Inconvénients

The emails that are sent out by Zego to residents are not customizable, and we have encountered issues with the content in those emails advising residents to attempt payment outside of our resident portal, which is something we would prefer not be shared as it generate confusion with how we have our operations set up.

I love that they notify you if a payment will be processed on a different date than when it should have. That has only happened once, but it helped to not give the tenant a late charge.

Avantages

I like that they have so many different products to use to make our & the tenants lives easier!!

I have nothing but great things to say about them!

Again, our overall experience with Zego has been positive. We would like to expand on some of the programs they offer but a lot of our client base is not technologically Savvy. Their willingness to try new features, ends up making platform upgrades cost prohibitive. We really do like the payment platform and the ease of navigating and the ability of our tenants to have a simple and easy payment portal.

Avantages

Zego is a very user-friendly product. We have been with Zego for almost 4 years. The payment platform is easy to navigate, and it is easy for our tenants to sign up and establish a payment portal. It is a cost-effective platform.

Inconvénients

We have wanted to expand with some additional features that Zego offers but the cost was a bit prohibitive.

Easy to use, set it and forget it. The best type of back-end software is the kind you don't have to think about.

Our experience, espencially with costumer service, has been excellent.

Avantages

Zego has made our lives easier by giving us the place for our residents to pay their rent online. We also use Cashpay which is new for us and it's been awesome. We no longer take money orders and instead, they use cashpay and the money goes directly into their account. No more scanners not reading the money orders causing bank errors!

Inconvénients

The only con is when I can't get my bosses to implement another one of their programs!

We use Zego for processing resident payments, which allows our customers to use a variety of payment methods we would not otherwise be able to accept. Zego integrates with our management software and automatically updates the resident's account.

Inconvénients

Users sometimes forget to turn off their automatic payments. But Zego has implemented the refund button so that has become easier to correct.
