The VPN system is so simple to use and boasts several key security measures to ensure all data is safe and secure

Sometimes the VPN can disconnect with no warning and takes a while to reconnect, whilst the stability of the software has got better its still far from perfect.

The software is easy to install and upgrade
Login to VPN requires authentication which is very nicely set up in this software. Generally, we use OTP/Call authentication on Cell and we get passkeys within seconds and no need to wait.

The authentication/Login process is easy and speedy but as soon as your system is locked or stayed idle for a longer time, it will auto disconnect and you would need to log in again with the credentials and authentication. So in a day, we need to go through this login process multiple times and which is very tiring.

I appreciate the variety of security measures available, from firewalls and VPNs to less well-known options like the VPN Portal, which enables web-based access to corporate resources and has proven to be a really practical option, especially for access from mobile devices. The excellent documentation is another benefit I believe merits highlighting.

The authentication/login process is simple and quick, however it will automatically disconnect if your system is locked or idle for an extended period of time, and you will need to log in again using your credentials and authentication. Therefore, we must go through the login process several times per day, which is incredibly exhausting.

Reliability is the most important point when using a VPN, with all the included aspects it covers. Forticlient is a user-friendly and easy to get your hands on authentication software that allows our clients to connect to their worksite remotely.

It's quick to deploy and get started with, and is now part of our daily routine.

There was very little Forticlient couldn't do and since the latest updates, it's now even better. The only quirks we ever had were more related to end-user hardware.

It is very convenient for our team. We use this everytime that I am on field so my team can still access our software.

It's easy to use, not a lot of learning curve needed for end users to use it. Also easy to deploy and very customizable. We currently have this paired with a third party MFA and the integration is seamless.

I have not see any -ve side about it, for the past 8months of using this.

The UI is easy to navigate and deploying VPN profiles via registry makes it easy to manage at scale.

Does integrate with Fortinet fleet of products so can be used with other services you may have.

When managing vulnerabilities caught with FortiClient software as it offers no in-place upgrade path, and requires UAC when updating to a new version it is quite disruptive to user base.

FortiClient is a strong and secure VPN tool that's great enable remote working for employees from anywhere. It's simple to use, simply open the tool and login using the company credentials given.

It has great functionalities so i like all of them.

The Forticlient VPN integration to Fortigate.

The download/installation can be a bit slow.

We handle a lot of sensitive and classified financial information at the organization, and we've had attempted computer cyber-attacks in the past that thankfully did not result in any harm to our business, and we were concerned if it happened again. We have more confidence in the privacy and security of our communication and information after implementing the FortiClient system.

To have a satisfying experience, the project duration time and level of the personnel responsible for deployment and administration must be sufficient. For us, we encountered issues with the complexity of connecting our networking system with other applications an hoping for much better solution for that issues.

We like the feeling that we are secured all the time because we are using Forticlient.

Nothing to hate of this product for it serve us well.

Remote user management is easy, endpoints like laptops and devices are protected well and easily managed, security policies are easy to implement

Backend can be have compatibility issues, users can get issues while installing due to complex requirements

This is very easy to install & configure. You have only to download, Install, and put your corporate VPN details. very simple and really very secure with 2FA.

Most of the times the VPN connection going down without any exact reason and have to connect again and again.
And also license cost is bit higher.

I am using vpn feature of forticlient product. The number of our remote workers has increased significantly during the pandemic period, I use this product to handle this load. By distributing the defined configuration for ssl vpn remotely, users just need to press the connect button.

I have not encountered any major problems with the product so far.

I was able to implement the free version of FortiClient and detail it to work within our environment. Alternate vendor MFA setup was easy to implement with the client.

Issue's with authentication lockouts. Still working through the bugs but the sslvpn is working as expected. Licensing can get a bit pricey.
