Love ContentKing and the fact that I know it is always up to date. I don't have to schedule crawls or reports, I just log in and get the latest issues and action items and go on my way. With the record keeping/change tracking, it provides a level of clarity that others tools can not.

There isn't much to dislike about CK. I really haven't found anything that has been a hinderance to me.

SEO dashboard provides very actionable data. That enables us to quickly fix issues.

Sometimes it seems to take a little while for dashboard to update after changes have been made to the site.

This software provides quick access to important SEO data of a website, especially regarding on-page indexability issues. Its user experience is a major asset, as it allows you to work very easily with a client or a web agency. Finally, the historical change tracking information is very useful.

Some link overviews are not yet exportable in Excel format. But at the pace of how the software evolves, it won't be long!

This tool helps to improve the website SEO and finds issues before they become a problem. It monitors real time our complete website for changes that have a potential to hurt it SEO wise. Some of the errors Contentking found also affected the visitors of our website, so it also helped to give an improved visitor experience. Another pro is the great support team. So, a must have tool!

Honestly, no complaints. The support team cleared up any issues and listed new feature requests.

The dashboard gives a lot of information about the correct use of SEO. Before I used ContentKing I knew what overall SEO was, but I didn't know all the details. ContentKing showed me how many different details play a role in SEO.

At the beginning my website scored a mere 700/1,000. Now it scores 986/1,000. My website is really SEO healthy. And that is reflected in the rankings. Great tool!

Sometimes the issues are a bit too technical to solve... I'm a copywriter [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], not an IT-specialist. But the help desk is always friendly and helpful.

+ The service. When I first started, the chat box actually had a human that was operating it and they didn't just point me to their not-so-helpful support page (like everyone else).

+ Seeing Updated Pages - As an agency I thought, ok so it crawls the pages more than once a month, big deal. Then I realized it gave me an opportunity to show clients changes by tracking those especially for moments when the CMS doesn't show the changes you made.

+ Pretty awesome they just integrated with GSC.

- It's not immediately easy to see what you could use it for if your not too technical. When I first started using it, I just thought, "what?" why would you need to crawl a site that often, then it dawned on me.

- It has the same issues that most of these tools have. There's no actionable intel that it gives you directly. You have to derive it for yourself.

Content king makes it nearly impossible to screw something up, pretty much everything is monitored and reported. Great way to stay in control of things and make sure that every action is beneficial to your website.

Luckily I didn't encounter any issues yet, os the only drawback I can think of is that live support is not 24/7, but that's totally a first world problem.

I think it's ability to detect technical issues promptly which can save you hours of time, trying to diagnose SEO problems. I also love the interface, it's a lot more user-friendly than a lot of the other SEO auditing tools on the market.

Pricing model - we love the software but would prefer it to be a monthly subscription so we have a clear indication of how much we can budget for this tool. Paying per website isn't the most feasible especially as we scale up and take on more and more clients.

1) Website Overview: With Content King I can see the whole picture of a website: How the URLs are laid out, the health score of each page, and any problems/issues they may have (including broken links or pages that can't be indexed).

2) Track Changes: What truly sets Content King apart from any other scanning tool I've used is: Content King tracks changes. It's not a one-off scan, or merely a recurring scan. Content King keeps a running list of the changes for each page. If you're in the businesses of monitoring client websites and providing maintenance, this is a game changer.

Example: Content King notified me that several pages had gone "missing" on one of my client's sites. Turns out, they were consolidating several pages into one new page. However, they hadn't setup any 301 redirects to let Google know they weren't merely removed. Thanks to Content King, I was aware of the change and was able to advise my client accordingly.

3) Easy to Use: Content King has a wonderfully designed user interface. Feels fresh and new.

4) Website Migration: I haven't had the opportunity to use Content King to monitor the success of a website migration yet, but I'm looking forward to that.

5) Notifications and Reports: Content King notifies me of any major issues that pop up on a website, and they also send a weekly summary/graph so I can see an overview of what's going on with each of the websites I monitor.

6) Support: Very helpful and responsive support.

1) False Positives: Occasionally there are false positives where Content King reports a page as missing when the page is there. Luckily, when you view a page in Content King, it immediately re-scans/checks that URL, which can clear up any false positives right away.

2) Weekly Report Links: When reviewing the weekly report email, clicking the change in health and issues metrics goes to the website's dashboard rather than a view of specific changes that happened over the last week. I'd like to see that improved.

Very good overview of the projects and active notification when acute errors occur. So I can focus on my main work and feel perfectly supported.
Easy to learn how to use it.

Some parameters are not possible to manage yourself, which are not correct from an SEO point of view. This results in many alerts that are somewhat stressful. The name is a bit confusing - because from my point of view it is more of a technical support than one from a content point of view.

I like the alerts that I receive when something got wrong and the daily audit that it does in my website

The price is too high and I can't use to all of my clients. I chose a few to test it and try to sell to the others

Automatic updates and constant automatic crawling / the support

not being able to set max pages lower than 1000. Not a dealbreaker tho.

That we can see the most important things at glance. We have lots of user-generated content as on our site, so there are lots of parts that could break. The email summary and robot.txt check is also very nice - in just a few seconds we know that we can sleep well

It can be quite complicated to get your head around segment feature and would be nice to have iPhone companion app.

It saves me so much time. It also alerts me when issues appear, so we can make sure to fix everything before we see ranking drops. The ContentKing team is also updating this tool on a regular basis, making it better every time.

There used to be no integration with Google Search Console. But they recently added this feature. Thanks for listening to the community, ContentKing team!

This tool get's the current state of your website from an external point of view. Marketing can monitor and edit while tech can see what points needs attention.

It takes a little bit of time to get the hang of everything though with a enough knowledge you will be up and running in no time.

Its reports are very complete and you can customize them to better fit your needs by ignoring some issues (which are not truly important). Also, every time I had the slightest issue and I had contacted the customer support, there were very patient and nice to help me understand what was going on or how could I achieve what I wanted to do.
From a UX point of view, the interface is very user-friendly and nice to use. You have a general overview of your website's situation and then you can dig deeper into what matters to you.
What I also like is that they keep a history of what has happened on the pages so that you can go back in time and assess the improvements made on a specific page or understand when and why a page started to derail.

I don't feel really concerned by this section since the team was always willing to help me master Content King and was always very interested in having feedbacks to keep improving the software. Lately, for instance, they released a new function giving you the opportunity to connect your Content King account to your Search Console account to always have a better insight of what's going on with your website.

Always provides actual benefit and real world best practice seo advice. The interface and presentation feels natural and is easy to use.

Could use Google Analytics integration so I can see more of my data integrated with their presentation which has a better interface.

Lets see all the problems of my sites easily and quickly.
Contenking does the work for me, I just have to correct the mistakes.
It has become a tool that is mainly used when creating a site or a redesign

- Updating some pages sometimes takes time. Some pages that no longer exist are not deleted.
- I would like to have the loading time of each page.
- See pages that have very content (too close), duplicate content
- A smartphone app
- Video tutorials explaining the various functionalities

Having live updates is key here - often time SEO teams will only be crawling their sites once per month with tools like screaming frog (which is fine I guess) but where ContentKing really smashes it out of the park is with live updates. It automatically tells if something has gone wrong, and if you're doing crawls only on the last day of the month, you may not have noticed for weeks!

I think it could be priced a little lower for people who are using the smaller subscription limits. It may be hard for people with only 1 or 2 clients to see value in it vs. using cheaper tools.

The 24/7 online analysis feature is very useful! It saves a lot of time for me and colleagues, because it saves us from having to manually create certain types of analysis (e.g. broken links, duplicates, etc.).

This tool is very user-friendly too, so it can be used by junior SEO/content specialists as well. So I can manage all projects easily.

I would like to have information on each page if it's really been crawled and indexed. Currently, you can only find out if it's indexable. But from a good source I know ContenKing is working on this :)

The best feature is the alerts. You get mails from contentking when someone has changed something on a website. For us as an agency this is really helpfull

I would like to see more connections with other tools etc. But they are working on that so it is on the roadmap.
