Once you've gotten past the beginner stage, the ease of use was excellent.

Being a beginner with the software at first it took a long time to get used to.

I really like Touchplan's ability to involve contractors in tracking the work program throughout the project lifecycle. I really appreciate Touchplan's unique tools, which allow us to set up a work program that includes all activities and resources. It is great that Touchplan allows us to design the WBS of the project, no matter how many sub-levels are, and the activities under each level are entered easily, and the automation helps with the exact linking of the activities, and showing the start and end dates for them, as well as for the project, and I greatly appreciate that all these steps are done with the cooperation of all Project parties including contractors, consultants and stakeholders, ensuring that the plan is properly prepared. Touchplan's dashboard is unique, it shows updates and we can take notes on it and also allows sending alerts to colleagues. The reporting tools are unique, and we can cooperate with them in preparing them and also send them to the stakeholders, who can review them and send notes on them directly to the specialists.

There are no worrisome matters, especially when defining the powers to update the program in the planning and scheduling team, as this ensures that the update process for completion is carried out on time, and all parties to the project can rely on the results and follow the delivery dates accurately.

Organizes activities well. It has a fluid way of sorting out tasks and presenting the tasks to subcontractors.

Time consuming, not worth it. Felt the subcontractors would not buy into it because it was too time consuming.

It is easy to teach the Subcontractors how to use the stickies correctly. The ease of use is important to getting the Subs to use Touchplan on a daily basis. I also like that you can see who is inside the plan and is actively working.

I do not like the report function. It should give you an example of the report you are producing before you generate it. I am computer savvy, but cannot figure out how to properly use the report tool. It seems like Touchplan has some bugs too. I continuously get an error message at the top of my screen and it said that our payment was overdue for an entire month which was incorrect.

Works in real time, so that all users in the tool can see the changes instantly on swimlanes. Easy to move items around and edit.

I would to be able to use without an interconnection. Tasks cannot be defined down to the hour, that would be really helpful. We use D for day and N for night but it is not specific enough.

Ease of learning and fantastic customer service. Really allows you to track in real time project status and integrate team feedback.

They didn't come out with it sooner. You do need a world wide web connection to run the platform which can be difficult on certain job sites.

Easy to use across multiple platforms. They listen to feedback and work on new features based on the users needs.

Great tool with an easy to understand interface which ties directly to the project master schedule. Great visual tool for review with Contractors

Not as widely known in some areas, therefore, Owner adoption and agreement on use can not always be guaranteed.

Touchplan is great for pull plans in the construction industry

Could be improved for compatibility using on other devices.

I like that the schedule can be accessed from anywhere, it allows me to see where the job is at from the office, and where we are expected to be without having to visit the construction office to look at sticky tags.

We have found that at times when everyone is logged in and making changes during a meeting, there can be some lag in the software.

This software is very easy to use and understand. It helps everyone get a visual of what's going on with the project in the way that is very effective.

There are limits of functions for this software. Usually the customer support staff is very helpful with trying to come up with a solution however I find that some issues that come up can't be fixed. (You can only assign constraints to project members ) this makes it challenging to assign issues to trade or consultants because you need to give them access to the project which isn't practical.

I like how everyone has their own designation. I like that you can note problems along with solutions to keep the subs honest. I like that there are not a bunch of sticky notes everywhere. I like that I could see it from my tablet, phone and computer and I do not need to be in the conference room to look at things.

It is frustrating to get new users or the not computer friendly sub-contractors to use the product. They are stuck in the Stone Age and some do to embrace having a smartphone let alone using a tablet at work.

The transparency of the schedule. Everyone who views the ticket interface can understand what they're looking at opposed to a P6. It also creates subcontractor input, collaboration and accountability.

Can get confusing when looking at the report generated data

I like that the software updates immediately, so that my Foreman see updates I make in real time.

Sometimes there are small gliches, but the ease of support from the live chat to the emails, fixes issues quickly.

Easy to use. Touchplan reps have also come out to visit our job site to help us with any questions and get us started.

Not completely adjustable to meet project needs.

The program is easy for someone who has limited computer experience to excel...

Moving activities around can be troublesome especially moving more than one acitivity

I like the easy functionality of the software. I love the ease of reporting.

It's hard to flip between swim lanes and project all the work

It's much better than putting stickies on a board. Color-coded stickies and the tracking of them make it very simple to use.

The software can sometimes be a little hard to open on my iPad but with a couple of tries it opens right up and I'm off on making more stickies.

It is online so accessible almost anywhere.
Only one price per project so people aren’t against it strictly for monetary reasons.

Can’t tie tickets together ( I know you can link the, but it doesn’t push successor so it makes linking easily overlooked)

Don’t have ability to track users log in unless you contact Touchplan.

The ease of use. We implemented it into a project where we had done pull planning with post it notes and this was a great way to optimize that.

For what we used for it was great. Can't think of any cons

I liked that it was real time and that all of the contractors could be entering their tickets in at the same time. The software was easy to use.

More colors were needed as we had more contractors than colors. Without enough colors it got confusing as to who was responsible for what as multiple contractors had the same colors.

Ease of use was huge. prior to this we submitted all of our plans via Excel which can be intimidating to some

it's difficult to exact in some instances. it would be nice to be able to add tasks for less than 1 day at a time

The program creates a fast and efficient way to build and review a schedule. Its makes for a idea of where you stand on a given project at a glance.

Could use more ways to identify tasks making it easier to delineate different types of tasks. It would also be helpful to add more information to the mile stones.
