We used Aprimo for about 8 years. It was a great product for us to develop and customize our project management workflows and processes. It was very customizable to exactly what we needed, which was very complex, and had features we utilized that we could not find with any other project management software (ex: review loops, auto team assignment).
Aprimo was very expensive for our company. Perhaps if you are a larger company the cost is not as big of a concern, but for us it became a concern. Aprimo also had terrible customer service during our time with them. Submitting a ticket took 3 weeks to hear back and often I would solve the problem instead of the Customer Service agent.
Upgrading Aprimo to the next iteration was also very costly, time consuming, and challenging.
