Very Helpful Company with a Quality Product

We are in the process of moving all of our academic signage over to their platform, with some testing and several signs activated. Everyone I have worked with at REACH has been very accommodating, has tried to understand my timeline (which has changed quite a bit due to some legacy equipment we were initially going to use prematurely hitting end of life) and have displayed qualities including being genuinely helpful, willing to go above and beyond to make sure our rollout is moving along as planned, and regularly checking to ensure our experience with the company is first-rate.
Avantages
We can do everything in the cloud that I need, the software itself is intuitive and works well. If I ever run into an issue, the REACH staff are very easy to work with and I have enjoyed working with them. I am a person who is laid-back, but has absolutely no hesitation at letting companies know if I am unhappy (our my company is) with them!
REACH offers a very good product at a price point that has saved us considerable money while having 99% of the features we were used to using or considering using and added a few we did not have.
Inconvénients
Very little. A few interactive items, I am used to programming myself versus working with the company for a minimal cost. I believe for most organizations, especially small business, this ends up being more of a feature as they can have dedicated people build whatever they need at exceptionally competitive rates. I am just a control freak, so it is more specific to my own personality and situation.

We are able to communicate more effectively than before with this product.
Avantages
The customization on all fronts plus great customer support.
Inconvénients
Unable to segment info across multiple TV locations within the same building without investing more into product. We just don't have the budget.

It's great when it works

Working with REACH and their support overall has been ok but the stability of what we purchase could use some improvements.
Avantages
It is indeed very easy to get going and update the content on our players.
Inconvénients
Keeping it running is a headache, the players disconnected frequently and become de-synced from the REACH network often. Sometimes in the 2 hours it takes to transport a player from where we configure them to their final location an update's been pushed and we now need support to fix it.

Great Product and very professional looking

Something so simple as having an upcoming events section on our displays that can be updated by all departments really makes getting the right information out there a cinch. As well, the PowerPoint import tool makes it super easy for folks with minimal computer knowledge to update content.
Avantages
I really enjoyed working with the team as we were switching to Reach for our digital signage needs. It was an easy transition since the staff at Reach helped setup the back-end the way we needed for our business.
Inconvénients
My biggest wish for continuing work as an Admin is to have a bit more control over our devices and configuring our environments. This is a minimal concern as the team at Reach is always available to quickly help us complete these tasks.

Avantages
What I liked is the ease of use of the software. I have some users that I was just able to give them a login and they were able to figure out some of the basic tasks.
Inconvénients
The interface is good but seems clunky as far as the announcements are handled. Other than that, the software has been great to use.

Reach is easy to use and a great communication tool for our office

We have had Reach for several years now and it has been working well for us. We are currently redesigning our template and Reach has been helpful with this. They are always available to troubleshoot issues and to listen to our requests.
Avantages
Loading graphics and video and scheduling them to appear when wanted is key. This is easy with Reach. The display looks great and we love it as a communication tool throughout our departments.
Inconvénients
It may be more specific to our use, but if a graphic is assigned to multiple locations and you wish to change that to only one or two locations, it is easier to remove the graphic entirely and then start over than to go through the system and remove from each location. This is my only current issue with the software.

Great for interactive and engaging signage.

Using REACH has really changed the way my company views signage and customer engagement.
Avantages
Managing all of our signage from one computer is awesome. Live updates are so easy. There are so many prebuilt templates available that I hardly have to design anything from scratch.
Probably my favorite feature is the interactive polling. All of our clients think it's so cool to walk by and participate in a poll or survey, then see the results later displayed on our boards.
Inconvénients
Occasionally there is a hiccup with the syncing. But it's extremely rare and nothing a quick hard reset can't fix.

Love REACH!

Avantages
I've used REACH for the last 4 years for the campus monitors my institution of employment uses. The system is very easy-to-use and I have appreciated the images and templates they already have established that you can embed into your messages. I also appreciate how over the years, they've continued to update and enhance this feature. I had never used a system like this before and found it user friendly. More than anything, my favorite thing about REACH is the customer service. I receive lightning fast, knowledgeable responses to my questions. They go above and beyond to not only answer my question, but provide me with additional resources for future use. I can't say enough good things about the way in which they approach supporting their clients.
Inconvénients
I do not have anything negative to report on using REACH.

REACH - Used in Secondary School

Excellent - highly recommend.
Avantages
We use this product to keep students update with school information, provide some humour and display current events. The product is very easy to use and customer service is great. I have introduced the product at two different high schools with great success.
Inconvénients
No real cons - it does everything I require with few issues.

Versatile, Intuitive, and Endlessly Customizable to your needs

In my humble opinion, communication and pre-planning are the cornerstones of good business and project management. The lack of them is the downfall of success. REACH software solves both problems with considerable ease. REACH Media is really the first product that proactively communicates with anyone who sees the monitor display, and it's always there. Good Job!
Avantages
Overall ease of use, with little training required. The overall layout is visually appealing.
Inconvénients
After using the software for about two months, I have no real cons, but instead a couple of suggestions. 1) I frequently have the REACH site and an Excel window open on one screen, with the windows reduced to the data being transferred. When a new calendar event window opens, it is fixed and cannot be moved, which greatly restricts window size. Please consider making the event box moveable as a click-and-drag; 2) Within the same new event calendar box, there is a button for more details, but the only addition is adding location. I think the original box could be slightly increased or tightened up to have location on the main screen; 3) When uploading new media library assets, it would be helpful if there was a crop/zoom function make the asset more readable or focus the content, and if it would be possible to have the option to have an asset scroll down automatically if the asset content exceeds screen height (Calendar events scroll just fine). Great software and design overall

Besides some previous models having hardware issues, the overall experience has been great. Customer support is quick to assist.
Avantages
Our customized Opal Foods dashboard that displays the temperature and weather of all our locations while also displaying announcements.
Inconvénients
The 'player' names under the player tab do not match the 'playlist' names under the announcements tab. For example, one of our playlist names is "Demo", which does not reflect the corresponding player name "Hathaway Processing". This can be a problem when moving players around.

Great overall product and amazing customer service!

This product is easy to use and customize. Whether you make your own graphics and upload them or use REACH's images and editing tools, you'll be happy with this system. The designers listen to our specific needs and are able to customize our template at any time as well. Everyone I've had contact with has been super helpful and had immediate follow-through. Most importantly, this system is RELIABLE!
Avantages
We had a basic one-screen service for multiple years and upgraded our wall screen to REACH just a few weeks ago. Installation and ordering was easy with the help of our contact, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], who helped us every step of the way from design needs, installation, ordering, billing, and training. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] listened to our specific needs and was able to customize our program to be EXACTLY what we need for the present and for the future. When we thought we had the wrong cords for installation (which we didn't...our mistake), she was willing to send the correct ones overnight. She was willing to go over and above for us. This has been a consistent trend in all of my dealings with REACH. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Inconvénients
The only thing I would change is the design tools. These aren't always easy to use. The best way to get around this is to design in another program and upload an image instead.

Avantages
The software is very easy to learn and the support from the team is wonderful. Training went smooth and was easy to follow. The potential this program has is endless. There is such a wide variety to the stock images available that I am able to make any announcement style I would like. Another aspect that I like about the REACH program is the ability to "work ahead" on items that you would like broadcasted. What I mean by that is the option to set start and finish timelines. I am able to work ahead on different events two or three months ahead of time and then just set the broadcast date and not worry about it. There are many useful options that are attached with this program I however just named a few.
Inconvénients
One thing that can be a bit frustrating is the way Windows updates do not sync with my end of the program. Here is an example of when happens...Windows has an update and when they do my monitor will go down. There is a big blue ribbon across the screen that lets you know you must perform a reboot. Well I am not able to reboot that in house. I have to make a ticket for tech support at REACH to do. Now with that being said the support at REACH responds right away and it doesn't take more than an hour to get things back up and running. The communication on their end is great I know exactly when they get the message and when they fix the issue. So that helps make it a bit less frustrating.

Wonderful Product! Can't imagine using anything different!

Overall, my experience with REACH has been nothing short of amazing! They are a company who truly cares about making the experience easiest for their users and works hard on building customer relationships.
Avantages
The most impactful feature of this program is how easy it is to not only use with our computer system, but how easy the implementation process was as well. The customer support for REACH is extremely helpful and efficient! They were able to answer any questions we had quickly and helped resolve any problems we had in a time efficient manner. As the one who updates information to the TV screen, I really appreciate that you are able to do batch uploads. This feature alone saves so much time for those of us who have a ton of other items on their agenda!
Inconvénients
I have not found anything yet that I do not like about this software.

Marketing Rule of Seven

It's seldom down, but when it is, tech support is quick to answer the call. The video quality is good.
Avantages
I like that users of our facility are being marketed to unbeknownst to them and the more hits, the better (Marketing Rule of Seven). Whether they are a parent waiting for a child to get out of skate lessons, hanging out on the front entry to catch some air, or waiting in the concession line at intermission, it reaches out to the patron where they are without requiring them to actively search, and may just intrigue someone to check an activity out.
Inconvénients
It's difficult to delete a text box once created and sometimes it doesn't project like it previews.

Using the Reach platform has really stepped up our facility look.

Ease of use. Nice look. I neglected to select a few boxes in the last page - I also am an administrator and user of the software, in addition to helping pick out the prodcut.
Avantages
We primarily use the Reach Software for our facility schedule. We also have it connected to our Social Media feeds (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). I love the capability of also adding flyers but we do not take advantage of this enough. Several of my colleagues in neighboring towns have been impressed and are considering adding this to their facilities.
Inconvénients
Although it has happened often, we have had the system stop displaying our data from time to time. When consulting with Reach Service, it seems like it was an issue with RecTrac (Vermont Systems), however when speaking with Vermont Systems they made it seem like a Reach issue. The issues have been rectified but was difficult going back and forth between Reach and Vermont Systems.

REACH system for the City of Bell

My overall experience with REACH has been great. The service that I have been receiving to make the changes that we need have been helpful and patient.
Avantages
Very easy to use! We are able to make any changes needed as we advance in our programs, events, announcements etc. We can upload and remove any images or programs and mess around with REACH when needed. It is reliable to use at our City parks for our patrons to see it is a catalog but on TV for everyone to see what the city has to offer.
Inconvénients
As of now we have not had any issues with the software or service. I have been working closely with Dean Running in updating our REACH system for the City of Bell, with a new logo we need new changes with colors, backgrounds, announcements. We will be in process of creating something new.

Wonderful Product!

One of our biggest goals as a school is to keep all stakeholders informed of what is going on within the school on a daily basis. Our interactive TV, along with the REACH software has allowed us to reach that goal. With a few clicks of a button, our daily announcements, student shout-outs, or other important notifications are published and easy for all to see.
Avantages
I love that I am able to access this software from anywhere. Even if I am not in school that day, I am able to send announcements out so the students/staff/community members can see them! I also love how user-friendly the REACH interface is.
Inconvénients
I am not sure I would identify this as a con, but we always appreciate software that is low-cost because of the tight budget we are on. Even yearly specials or price knock-downs might help me sell the yearly cost to my administration!

Keeping our Community Informed has never been so easy!!

I love that when we discussed needing to add a screen outside, and had an idea, but needed to know if it could be done that REACH customer support was ON IT!!!! We now have our outdoor television with mount, and all that we need to connect to REACH and get info to folks that are visiting our outdoor areas (playground, disc golf, outdoor pool, tennis courts, etc. . .) Now I feel that we "reach" (no pun intended) everyone that visits the center - both in and out!! Thank you - Thank you - Thank you!!
Avantages
The ability to create content so easily and get it to the areas that need it. I love that if we are doing something center specific, we can just advertise here, but when we want the community to know, it is just as easy as leaving all of our boxes checked for all areas. Brilliant!!
Inconvénients
I cannot for the life of me think of anything that I do not like about the software - it has been an absolute game changer for our recreation center!!

Midland Rockhounds Concessions

Our overall experience has been great. We had more people ask about particular food and beverage items as well as had other ball clubs in our league ask to find out where we found Reach Management. I believe we only used 50 percent of what’s capable and look forward to learning more innovative ways which we can extend our menu boards to our guests in the ballpark.
Avantages
The introduction of having digital menu boards has helped the patrons read and see visualization menu items from large TV’s. We have been able to load our own photos of food and beverages, which also provides the patrons with actual pictures of concessions available in the baseball stadium. Having reliable tech-support allows even the less computer savvy individuals a chance to learn from the ground up how to make a successful menu board. Lastly, being able to be in control from the administrator’s standpoint of putting in special deals of the day on the day of a game provides good flexibility.
Inconvénients
We have been very happy with the overall software. I say from the administrator’s standpoint, maybe extend call support with the technicians to later in the day. Most if not all problems seem to occur during a game or event when tech support is already closed.

REACH is a great tool that integrates with eSPACE.

We've been able to create a culture that no longer contends for meeting/conference rooms based on who needs it most. :) Now it's only about who put it on the calendar first.
Avantages
REACH is integrated with our eSPACE event scheduling system. There is minimal set up that seems a little daunting when creating the first display? But once you understand what it's asking, as long as you follow the steps you can't go wrong. The team at REACH does a great job of asking what's needed and knowing exactly how to set up the displays to show information for spaces/events approved in eSPACE so there's never a conflict when somebody goes to use a meeting/conference room. If it was scheduled, it will be on the display!
Inconvénients
Initially, there was a little bit of misunderstanding with the support team that helped us to implement displays based on what we were needing, but after this, we've had no negative experiences. Every once in a while I have to reset the software, but that's usually only because updates were pushed to our iPads.

-It's very easy to use
-I can schedule announcements to display and expire, which is amazing for planning things ahead of time
Inconvénients
-Currently, the social media feed (Instagram and Facebook) shows very small compared to the size of our display.
-Tweets show without pictures
-The time stamp for our social media feed shows incorrectly.
-I have brought this up to our rep already, but there's another department that submits their announcements to our screen and our message gets lost. We didn't get a straight answer on why it's happening or a solution. I wish there was an approval procedure before another department can submit their announcements.

Simple solution for property management and condo boards

The team at reach is by far one of the best in the business. I feel like I am their only client. They are so responsive and easy to work with!
Avantages
We really love that we were able to make our boards in the building digital with this software at a cost that was not a huge increase to the condo. The ease of use of the software and that it is online allowed our board to manage what was on the board and to make sure it was appealing to owners and residents.
Inconvénients
I wish there where easy template layouts that we could use and that you offered backgrounds for these templates.

Has a couple of quirks, but overall great to use

Easy to pick up, easy to use, once you know how everything works.
Avantages
I love that I can control it remotely. I work from home so I can program it at home, and even if I go out of town or on vacation, I just need a laptop to update it.
Inconvénients
A quirk in the time format of the system: in the Announcements section, you end at 11:59pm on the day you want it to end, but in the Schedule section, it ends at 12am the next day, so you have to put an end date as the day AFTER you want it to end.
Also wish there were more fonts available; it would be great to have access to the Google fonts library.
And would love to be able to move text boxes in the Announcements section using arrow keys to nudge, or be able to use some kind of alignment tool.

REACH software is the best around

It allows me to keep our employees inform of all corporate notices, as well as what is going on at a local stand view.
Avantages
The software is very easy to learn. Also, everyone at Reach are very helpful, friendly and professional. When I call with a question, I get quick response. I never get the run around having to waiting 2 days for someone to call me back to answer my question. I highly recommend this software, it is the best around.
Inconvénients
I really can't say anything negative about the REACH program
