The fact that we can set up several email accounts, and set up in advance all the scenario. This makes a huge difference, and the interface is easy to use.

The analytics bit is a bit light in my opinion. The replies are not always concordant.

Here's the thing- we use Mailshake when we're doing email outreach of our blog content

99% of the time, we're emailing someone cold, and letting them know about an article that our research suggest they might like etc etc

Because of the volume of outreach, we might email a prospect twice by accident right?

Not with Mailshake

Honestly, and this is struggling to find a flaw?

We usually write an article one month, and then promote it for the next 2

This means we have 30 days out of 90 where we don't use the product, but still pay for it

I haven't even checked if its possible, but not being billed during those periods/pausing the account etc would be awesome, but honestly- the tools so good we pay when we dont use it

It can help you to automate email campaigns to a certain extent, it does sending faster than if you would do it manually, it keeps track of follow ups.

Customer support does not respond to your queries, not even after a month, if email replies 'out of office' is in another language besides English, it counts the email as a valid reply, if you schedule initial campaign on the specific date, it does not send it entirely on that day yet breaks it into several batches thus disrupt you next follow ups (instead of after 3 days, you end up with a follow up sent the following day) etc.

The software is very intuitive. It's the ease of use and interface that allows for me to schedule very complex communication rules without many clicks. Mailshake has many small features that were surprisingly amazing. For example, it lets me know if customers have been in other email campaigns. It can remove duplicates. You can easily avoid weekend mailings. You can scrub bad emails. It's smart enough to separate first and last names for you. The list goes on. Can't recommend enough.

The data and email metrics are fairly limited. I'd love to see a more thorough metric dashboard, in addition to user-level metrics using data spanning across multiple campaigns.

For starters, it's super easy to use. No hassle figuring things out or configuring workflows - it's easy to start sending emails.

It also has pretty much every feature I'd need. Followups, link tracking, merging. Pretty much anything you'd need for a cold email outreach campaign.

Finally, Zapier integration. Need I say more?

It's not a fancy UI, but it easily connects with my Google Apps/Gmail account to send personalized outreach emails that actually look personal, especially including automatic follow up based on different triggers (i.e. the prospect did or did not open, click, or reply).

The best part is that they have lots of training and ideas on how to write cold emails that don't seem spammy or stupid. Really well done platform to grow your business the simple, grassroots way.

The feature that SHOULD be there, but isn't... is cloning a campaign. If you have a successful campaign with one list of prospects, and you want to run it again... or use it as a foundation for a new cold outreach campaign, you can't clone it! Definitely my biggest pet peeve!

Mailshake is a simple and affordable solution for sending cold email. It can stop sequences based on replies, track open and click rates and schedule sends. It has been frequently updated with new features and is very easy to use.

I would like to see more reporting options. There are reports and it is possible to see the last 30 days for instance, but I wish that a custom date range could be selected. I'd also like to see campaign performance for a certain time, rather than having to view the entire campaign performance. Adding these features would less us know that we improved or not in response over time and it would also help us more easily track if it is time for us to start another campaign.

It's amazingly simple to use and has most of the functionality I need. It helped build our cold email engine that ended up generating so many leads we almost couldn't handle all of the responses. It saved me hours and hours of time through the automation. It was set it, and forget it, then be overwhelmed by leads.

Given the overwhelming response we had from our outreach, scheduling sales calls became a challenge. I'd love to have this paired with a cc function to add a bot like x.ai or another scheduling service.

The biggest reasons we love MailShake is the ease of use, affordable price point, core features needed to launch a successful campaign and the resources they provide. The new cold email masterclass which was offered for free is well worth at least a years subscription of MailShake.

There are other more expensive platforms that offer robust reporting, advanced email scheduling based on when users open the emails sent etc. Those features would be nice to have here.

Define and refine your list. Queue up your message sequence. Let the robots do the work. I can't rave enough about this tool. It's literally like having a robot for a salesperson, who follows perfect instructions and only bothers you when they've got a hot lead on the line. The founding team is also amazing and extremely responsive and helpful.

They implemented an anti-spam bot on the backend to make sure their platform wasn't being abused by users. Smart idea, but the version of the software they picked was a bit overkill and it broke my campaigns on several occasions. But their team is amazing and was super responsive to get it sorted. They went into my campaigns manually, examined everything I was doing and saw that I was playing by all the rules and got me up and running again. This is a case where excellent customer service on an excellent product made me into a lifetime advocate for them!

The tool integrates with my google account and allows cold outreach. With its advanced autoresponder, it gives me the ease to schedule 3-4 or 5 follow ups in a single campaign. The tool also comes with email templates and custom fields which make email outreach a breeze. The UX for campaign follow-ups is the best I have seen in any tool. It is super intuitive. With advanced features like analytics, I can track campaign performance and unsubscribe prospects who opt out. I can also add prospects during a campaign. Really well thought-through product!

I don't have any cons to mention about this software. It just works exactly as I would expect. I just hope they keep improving the tool with new features and templates.

The automation of emails and being in control of the time between emails in a campaign series

I feel that the images import can be a bit glitchy sometimes but definitely a deal breaker

Very simple to use and the functionality is basic but comprehensive. It isn't overwhelming but accomplishes what we need.

Could be a more robust integration with SalesForce.

Not complicated to use. Was able to setup in 30 mins. Great for outreach emails and I can even schedule follow up emails. this app is simply straightforward.

My preferred email outreach tool stopped working so I returned to Mailshake. I’ve used Mailshake in the past and it’s better than I remember. (I stopped using it because my team moved to another vendor.) Recently, I used it for a Drip campaign and to my surprise I didn’t have problems with emails going into the Spam folder.

The real-time analysis is my favorite feature.

No complaints about Mailshake. It does a very good job.

I have to say that Mailshake is pretty good cold mailing tool. Thanks to Mailshake I can upload the list of contacts and send personalized e-mails. In addition, it lets to take advantage of pre-defined email templates available in the software to create my email campaigns.

What is the main disadvantage? It’s only available with Gmail account. So, to send personalized emails from my Outlook account I have to use a different tool.

It is easier to send emails to a lot of people and automatizes your emailing job. Zou can set up timing of your campaign, so you don't have to be at job when it sends your emails.

It doesn't stop emails from people when they write from different email address and it recognizes out of office msg as a reply, so doesn't send follow-ups which creates a lot of extra work, that should be automatized with Mailshake.

I love how easy it is to use and how I can take a smart message and send to a cold list in order to warm it up. They also give you super good ideas here as well.

I really do not have any cons for this. It does what it says and it does it creatively. You can upload huge lists and send to them immediately.

Easy to use. Been using this for 5 months now and after about a week I found I knew how to use all aspects of the tool. Sending on average 100 emails a day and seeing great results :)

No bad experiences as of yet. Biggest problem I had was with transferring my csv file into Mailshake but thankfully support resolved my problem

The ease of use and reporting goes beyond expectations. The ability to set up automation campaigns is the icing on the cake that makes this a tool every growth marketing NEEDS in their stack.

The only thing I wish Mailshake had was a database of contacts you could create for future campaigns.

This is exactly the tool I need to do outreach for content promotion. Super easy to use and the price is right.

More than likely the service is great but it is limited to only Gmail accounts. There is no way to use it with Exchange, SMTP or IMAP.
