Analyse Produit

As the number of small businesses and sole proprietorships has grown, a demand has emerged for easy-to-use, affordable software. Zoho Books makes the process both easy and affordable, giving SMBs and freelancers the ability to invoice clients, keep track of expenses and income, and get paid more quickly.

Because Zoho Books is cloud-based, all activity is conducted online, making it accessible from any internet-connected device. This also allows multiple team members to manage finances, ensuring business continues uninterrupted while someone is on vacation or busy with other tasks.

Qu'est-ce que Zoho Books ?

Many key business decisions are made based on finances. Zoho Books gives businesses complete visibility into the condition of their books, while also automating mundane tasks like sending invoices and tracking payments.

Designed specifically for freelancers and small businesses, Zoho Books recognizes that each business has its own unique needs. For that reason, the software prompts users to customize invoices to include discounts, add shipping costs, include sales personnel names for commission purposes, and more.

Fonctionnalités Clés

Create Invoices

Zoho Books automates the process of sending invoices to customers, allowing information to be entered directly into a customizable template that represents a business's brand. Taxes and discounts can be applied to the invoice to the business's specifications. With Price Lists, businesses can input up-to-date information on their pricing for both internal and external users. Projects and Time Sheets give businesses the ability to track time and stay on budget, ensuring they are compensated for the work they do.

Once the invoice has been completed, it can be emailed or sent by snail mail. After creation, the invoice is also saved in the business's database for future reference.

Send Estimates

Before a customer can be invoiced, he must first agree to do the work. The first step of any job is to provide a cost estimate to the customer, which then gives him the information he needs to make a decision to hire a business or freelancer.

A business can view all estimates by those that have been viewed, accepted, invoiced, declined, or expired. This allows for easy follow-up to ensure no projects fall through the cracks.

Track Expenses

To input expenses, businesses need only to manually enter expenses individually or import from an existing source. Receipts can be attached to each expense as it is added.

Once entered, expenses can be tracked through reports that show where a business's money is being spent during a specified period. Expenses can be broken into categories for tax accounting purposes.

Pay Bills

Just as businesses spend a great deal of time billing customers, they also are required to spend time paying bills, as well. Zoho Books lets users input bills and mark whether they've been paid or not. Recurring billing can also be set up for subscription-based billing. With a client portal, clients can gain access to the information pertaining to their specific account, paying bills online with just one click.

Bills can be prioritized by the date due, ensuring those that are due first are paid first. Through the dashboard, users can see all bills or only those that are open, overdue, unpaid, partially paid, paid, or void.

With Zoho Books, information is consistently updated, giving businesses access to information on finances. Users simply choose a date range and the type of report and information is immediately provided.

Once created, reports can be either sent to a printer or exported to a PDF for sharing with associates or accountants. These reports can also be used for reporting to investors or board members.

Purchase orders and sales orders can also be input and tracked in Zoho Books, helping a business better manage its inventory. Inventory can be managed to allow a business's accounting to flow seamlessly from pre-sale to post-sale status.

Zoho Books' inventory module includes products, price books, vendors, quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices.

Through settings, a business can set up Zoho Books to gather information directly from its bank account automatically. This information can also be imported manually on an as-needed basis. This makes Zoho Books a virtual representation of a business's bank account.

With Zoho Books Bank Feeds, businesses can get bank transactions automatically in real time, saving time and effort on duplicate entry. Transactions can be categorized to make it easy to find a specific item.

Zoho Books integrates with several apps frequently used by freelancers and small business owners. The app's integration with payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, PayPal Payflow Pro, Braintree, Authorize.net, and 2Checkout.

Many of Zoho's apps work together for a seamless user experience. Zoho Books works with Zoho CRM, Zoho Sheet, and Zoho Projects.
